Two BISD High Schools Earn College

Hanna and Rivera High Schools are among the top 9% of Texas high schools to earn the 2012 College Readiness Award from the Texas ACT Council. The award recognizes significant increases in ACT composite scores over five years, while increasing the number of students taking the ACT assessment. A total of 170 high schools in Texas were honored for this superior level of accomplishment, five in the Rio Grande Valley. View release.
