Two BISD Earn Top Marks

The Hanna Golden Eagle Band and Lopez Lobos Band both competed in the 2012 UIL Texas State Marching Band competition held at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Tuesday, November 6. Both Brownsville ISD bands presented their best performances of the year. Earning spots at the state contest ranks the Hanna and Lopez bands in the top 5% of 5A high school bands in the state. This also marks the third trip for Lopez and the sixth trip for Hanna. These BISD students have proven themselves to be among the best in Texas. Congratulations to the students, parents, directors, employees and administrators.
