Spanish Educators to Tour BISD

Two distinguished educators from Spain will visit Brownsville ISD on Monday, November 3 and Tuesday, November 4. The district is pleased to welcome Esther Salat, Education Councilwoman, Sant Cugat City Hall, and Sam Lardner, Project Director for the Sant Cugat Living Lab. The focus of their visit is to learn about the district’s initial training of teachers ranging from the implementation of methodologies to the evaluation of students. The visitors will hear first-hand accounts from BISD teachers and administrators as they tour district campuses. They hope to take BISD’s best practices and use them with their own students in Catalunya, Spain. The BISD Curriculum and Instruction Department is coordinating their visit.
