Making History with Five Home Games

Five Brownsville ISD high school football games are scheduled to be played at home on Thursday, September 11 through Saturday, September 13. In the best interests of the student athletes, two of the games will be played at the same time on Friday. The Veterans Memorial High School Athletic Coordinator and the Edinburg High School Coordinator have agreed to play their football game on Friday, September 12 at 7:30 pm at the Veterans Memorial Stadium since Sams Stadium is booked with four other games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All in all, it promises to be an exciting weekend of high school gridiron action in Brownsville, Texas.
