BISD Artists Earn BPUB Awards

Several BISD secondary students earned awards in the Brownville Public Utilities Board Public (BPUB) Power Month Poster Contest. Congratulations to Daniela Sosa, Grand Prize, Pace High Early College High School; Alicia Chavez, Hanna Early College High School and Arendi Garcia, Manzano Middle School, People’s Choice Awards; Kathy Estrella, Hanna Early College High School, and Rebecca Cedillo, Stillman Middle School, Honorable Mention. The winning students will be presented with their prizes and certificates on Monday, October 13 at 5 pm at the Brownsville PUB administration building for a congratulatory advertisement in The Brownsville Herald.
