BISD Bands Excel at Region 28

BISD bands set another all time record at the 2011 Region 28 High School Band UIL Concert and Sight–Reading Contest held on April 12-14 at the UTB Arts Center. Brownsville ISD bands earned more 1st division ratings than ever before. Every BISD high school top band received a UIL sweepstakes trophy and straight 1st division ranking. Of the BISD high school bands that competed, all 12 received UIL awards, 10 earned sweepstakes trophies, and 4 improved their ratings over last year.
