Media Release

The Brownsville Independent School District and the Board of Trustees were made aware of a recently released audio recording. As a district we are disappointed that the audio recording included disparaging and inappropriate comments about BISD Board Members, Legal Counsel, and Administration, as well as racist statements. We neither condone nor support any of the comments found in the audio recording. The Brownsville Independent School District will continue to focus on our mission of educating all students and providing the best educational options for our community.
