Middle School Scientists Are State Bound

Congratulations to all the BISD students who competed on February 10, 2017, at the UTRGV Rio Grande Valley Science & Engineering Regional Fair. Congratulations to Steven Betancourt from Stillman Middle School who won 1st Runner-Up Overall in the competition. All BISD students who placed in the top 3 of their division are eligible to compete at the Texas Science & Engineering Fair on April 1, 2017. In the Junior Division, BISD has 15 projects with 17 student representatives who are eligible to participate at the State Science & Engineering Fair.
