Powerlifting Regionals

Congratulations to the BISD male powerlifters who have qualified to compete at regional competition. Congratulations to Joseph Serino, Eric Tong, Arturo Mancias, Ramon Delgado, Nathan Silva, Leo Gonzalez, Rafa Pena, Ricky Arreola, Andre Gonzalez, and Adrian Arredondo from Hanna ECHS; Alex Berrones, Leo Alaniz, Jose Quintero, Jose Alvarado, Danny Diaz, Rogelio Pulido, Daniel Ramos, Hugo Salas, Alexis Olalde, and Josh Trevino from Lopez ECHS; Misael Marquez, Ricky Cuellar, Yayo Segura, Pablo Garza, Julian Hinojosa, and Christian Castro from Pace ECHS; Bradley Salinas, Juan Lopez and Kevin Garcia from Porter ECHS; Joel Sanchez, Sammy Deleon, Jimmy Deleon and Brandon Martinez from Veterans Memorial ECHS. They will compete at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association (THSPA) Regional Championships to be held at Weslaco East High School on Saturday, March 12. Lifting begins at 9am.
