State First Place for Ballroom Dancers

BISD secondary ballroom dancers earned first place at the Texarama State Team Match held in Galveston on Friday, September 13. A total of 110 BISD dancers faced heavy competition from Fred Astaire Dance Studios from Clear Lake, Katy, Lake Houston, Cypress, Champions, Ft. Worth, Sugarland, River Oaks, and The Woodlands. The judges and audience were taken by the talent and enthusiasm of BISD’s talented ballroom dancers who continue to earn statewide recognition on the dance floor.
