Local Readers Vote on Their Favorites

Three BISD educators and three campuses earned recognition in the 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards sponsored by The Brownsville Herald. Congratulations to Principal Celia De Los Santos, Pullam Elementary; Teacher Sonia Ngo, Pullam Elementary; Coach Johnny Garcia, Pace High School; and Pullam Elementary, Vela Middle School and Hanna High School. The Reader’s Choice winners will be highlighted in the newspaper on Wednesday, February 27 and will receive plaques.
