BISD Spellers Advance

A total of 8 top BISD spelling finalists will compete at the 24th Annual Rio Grande Valley Regional Spelling Bee to be held on Saturday, March 3 at 9 am at Texas State Technical College in Harlingen. The 8 spellers were finalists in the BISD Spelling Bee held on February 12 at Gallegos Elementary School. The winner of the RGV Regional Bee will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to be held in Washington, D.C. on May 27-June1, 2012.
