16 Schools Named Higher Performing

Sixteen BISD schools earned spots on the 2011 Higher Performing Schools in Texas list compiled by the National Center for Educational Achievement (NCEA). The list identifies those elementary, middle and high schools in Texas that have consistently outperformed their peers with similar student populations over a three-year period (the 2008-09, 2009-12, and 2010-11 school years).
