Middle School Bands Raise the Bar

BISD middle school band students set another all-time record for the fifth consecutive year by earning a total of 164 All-Region Band chairs at the Middle School Band Auditions held at Rivera High School on Saturday, January 22, 2011. In addition, BISD students earned 13 of the 16 available first chair positions. Over 35 middle schools from across the Rio Grande Valley participated in the auditions.
